Saving Configurations

Change Management, by default, saves the current configuration you are examining with a .abc file extension. This is the normal practice when you are working on a ChangeSet.

 

If you have finalized a ChangeSet for Management Approval, select the “Save as” menu operation and select the “ActiveBatch Read-Only Configuration File (.abm)” choice. This will save your configuration as .abm file suitable for readonly examination of the ChangeSet. The bottom right of the Change Management GUI provides a visual clue as to the current file extension in use (Configuration or Read-Only Configuration). In addition, the object name mode is displayed (Name or Label).
