ActiveBatch Installation
The ActiveBatch Installation job steps support installing, modifying, and uninstalling some components of ActiveBatch.

This job step can install/modify the ActiveBatch Client and/or Execution Agent on a remote machine.
Platforms Supported
Windows, UNIX-based. Note for UNIX-based systems only Execution Agent installation is supported.
Software Pre-Requisites
None.
Job Step Properties
TargetMachine – The name of the remote machine (can be a hostname or fully qualified domain name or IP address) that you want to install the ActiveBatch Client and/or Execution Agent on.
InstallPath – (For Install only) A valid file specification (device and directory only) to which this software should be installed.
Package Location – This property contains a valid file specification for the ActiveBatch MSI file.
Execution Agent Credential – This property contains the credentials that will be associated with the newly installed Execution Agent service.
Client – This property indicates whether this feature should be installed or not.
ExecutionAgent – This property indicates whether this feature should be installed or not.
LogFile – This property specifies a valid file specification for Windows Installer logging.
Native64 – This Boolean property indicates whether a 64-bit package is being installed.
Repair – (For Install only) This Boolean property indicates whether a Repair operation should be performed.

This job step can uninstall the ActiveBatch system on a remote machine.

Windows, UNIX-based. Note for UNIX-based systems only Execution Agent uninstall is supported.
