Find Object in Tree

ActiveBatch provides a method for searching for objects based on the object's ID or Full Path. Typing Ctrl/G launches the Find dialog depicted in the image below. You can also access the Find dialog by right-clicking on the Job Scheduler object in the Object Navigation pane, then selecting Find > Object in tree. The context for the search is set by the Job Scheduler that is currently selected (if more than one Job Scheduler connection is established in AbatConsole).

 

Find Object in Tree is useful when you know the object’s ID number or full path. This option displays a simple dialog box asking for the ID or full path. When properly entered, the system selects the object in the Object Navigation pane.

 

 

Note: All objects are system-assigned an object ID which is located on the object's General property sheet. The object's full path is specified there as well.
