Console Icons
As you look through the various ActiveBatch Console menus, views and panes, you will see many icons.
ActiveBatch icons do not use color to denote object type. This makes is easy to differentiate between a Queue and a Job. The icons do use color to denote state information. Any object that is disabled will have an additional icon placed to the left of the usual icon, denoting its state (e.g. disabled, held, soft disabled, etc.).
Job and Plan definitions do not observe the red/green convention since a defined Plan/Job does not actually run. Plan and Job instances, however, do observe the red/green convention (along with other colors representing various other instance states, like executing, waiting constraint, aborted, etc.). The state is also printed in text for anyone who may be color challenged. Green is considered a good state. Red indicates either some type of problem or a user-specified operation that acts to inhibit further operations (for example, stopping a Queue will result in the Queue icon with an additional red colored box). A failed Job is also colored red.
Note: In Tools > Settings > General > General you have the option to enable bold text for failed and aborted Jobs in the various instances views, so they stand out. Check the Bold Failed and Aborted Rows checkbox to enable this option.
Below you will find an image of each icon and its description.
