Availability Manager

This facility is used to manage Job Scheduler high availability (active-passive). If your active Job Scheduler fails, a standby Job Scheduler can take over - avoiding loss of availability. When high availability is configured, you can use the Availability Manager to force a failover, or choose another supported action.

 

To access this facility, click on Tools > Availability Manger. The Availability Manager works in conjunction with ActiveBatch's add-in (separately licensed) Non-cluster failover feature.
