Licensing
The Licensing view provides specific licensing information which will vary depending on the type of licenses you have subscribed to.
Each Execution Agent system will display the total number of points required for the type of platform the Agent is installed on. For example, as of this writing, a Windows Execution Agent consumes 10 points. In the example below, there is only one Windows Execution Agent installed, using 10 points out of an unlimited number of points. The Agent points are unlimited in this example, as this is one of the subscription options. However, customers can also license "x" amount of points which will be allocated towards each Agent installation. There are other licensing options for Agents, including licensing a host VM (virtual machine). The point system is considered the traditional or classic licensing option. The traditional and VM host licensing options are not mutually exclusive. For more details about this topic see the following knowledgebase article.
At a minimum, you would expect to see an ActiveBatch Job Scheduler license and one or more Execution Agent licenses. If you have acquired any add-ins (e.g. Failover) or extensions (e.g. Informatica), they will be listed here as well. To see your actual license numbers, click on the License Manager button in the top left-hand corner of the view. The License Manager's "Validated" pane lists the valid ActiveBatch licenses.
