Triggers

A Trigger is an action that potentially starts a Job/Job Reference or Plan/Plan Reference (potentially only because of possible Constraints or unexpected environment conditions - e.g. a Queue is down).

 

ActiveBatch supports many types of triggers: Interval, Schedule, Constraint-based, Events, Completion Triggers , Alert Triggers and Manual triggers.

 

This section describes scheduled triggers , event-based triggers and completion triggers.
