Scheduling Analytics
By default, (4) views are grouped together in the Scheduling Analytics folder located in the Views pane. This includes the Analysis Dashboard, Managed Queue List, SLA List, and SLA Monitor. They are described in this section.
The Views pane, depicted in the image below, is configurable by accessing Preferences > Views > General. You can reorganize the Views pane by moving around the position of views within their default built-in folder (e.g. Developers, Operations, etc.), or you can move views into a different folder. You can also hide individual views. If you are satisfied with the factory default layout, you can keep the Views pane as-is.
If your Views pane does not look like the image below, it is because the factory default layout has been customized using the Preferences option mentioned above. The content in the Views pane is documented to match the factory default layout you see in the image below.
The Scheduling Analytics section deals with two (2) aspects of ActiveBatch Intelligent Scheduling. The first is Availability SLA. SLA or Service Level Agreement deals with the time criticality imposed on a job or workflow. This time critical aspect of a workflow is typically expressed as a deadline. In other words, the workflow must complete successfully by 1pm. SLA Monitor provides a single place in which you can observe SLA statistics as well as summary and detailed information concerning SLA executing workflows and jobs. SLA List provides a list of triggerable objects that have an SLA configured.
The second Scheduling Analytics area concerns Smart Queues. Smart Queues is the facility which, using Managed Queues, supports automated provisioning of cloud and/or virtual machine systems based on real-time and/or historical demand. The historical demand aspects are handled through the ActiveBatch OLAP Reporting system (instance reporting) which captures all Plan/Job Instance information. This allows a thorough analysis of past performance.
